I was going through a rough patch in my life and came across that quote in a book I was reading. I based the tattoo design around the pearls coming out of the chest. The word faith is coming up out of the treasure chest because as your faith continues to grow the more you reveal your pearls(who you are). Also I left the chest empty to represent freeing yourself and not being afraid to be true to who you are. "
