Is This Volkswagen Super Bowl Ad Racist? [VIDEO] [POLL]

With the Super Bowl coming up this Sunday evening in New Orleans, there will be a lot of people watching the big game for its commercials. One commercial that is set to debut this weekend is a new Volkswagen commercial featuring a white male with a heavy Jamaican accent who is very happy about his new vehicle.

In fact the company did a survey of about 100 Jamaican's to get their opinion on the ad to make sure that it was not offensive to people from the island community before they moved forward with producing the commercial. Volkswagen even hired a Jamaican dialect coach to get the actor in the commercial dead on with his delivery so that he would sound just like a Jamaican; what a bomboclat! Married to a Jamaican, certain words just happened to come out of my mouth under certain circumstances! Let us know what you think of the ad and do you find it inappropriate?

By the way, Volkswagen does have a couple of other options in the can just in case …
