Is the Government Hiding Mermaids ?

The other day I'm talking with Chris Reynolds in his office about various conspiracy theories etc.. He then begins to tell me about how mermaids were written on the hieroglyphs in ancient Kemet (Egypt). I never really put much thought into mermaids being real or fake but their is overwhelming research that is being conducted now to prove that the probability of mermaids being real actually exist. Also he told me about a documentary that had just aired on animal planet where scientist were speaking up about the government concealing a finding of a mermaid on the shores of Washington state. I still wasn't a believer until I actually watched the documentary. The documentary is pretty interesting on top of that there is a link to a site www.believeinmermaids.com. When I clicked on the link I could not believe what I saw. Do you think there is an actual government cover up of mermaids going on in this country ?
