[INTERVIEW] UB Art Student Is Live With A.C.E

Ashley Powell of University of Buffalo visited the WBLK studios for an rare interview you couldn't get anywhere else. Graduate student Ashley Powell chose to use "White Only" & "Black Only" signs as her art project. over the past week she's received positive and negative feedback. I was given the opportunity to have the first interview with her since her story went national.  Powell who is in a 2 year graduate program at the university say's

"Whenever we're in school doing art projects,we need to always involve every art project in our practices". "My practice is critical race issues, so in regards to critical race issues i see time as something that has stood still for many people in America"." I apologized because i too am a young white person, but i do not apologize for my actions for one second".
