After a rough 2015, Iggy Azalea is ready to turn things around. The Australian rapper has begun the push for her new album Digital Distortion with the release of the new single "Team" produced by Chordz and Fuego. Iggy has been teasing the song and it finally arrives with a dance video.

The track was co-written by Iggy Azalea and co-produced by Omega. Ryan and Lou also contributed to the production. Iggy went on Twitter to explain the message behind the new single.

"I’ve got my own back and I am my own team," Iggy Azalea said of the track. "20% meaningful 70% bop 10% ratchet."

Iggy Azalea is scheduled to perform "Team" during a March 22 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. While Iggy did release a track called "Azillion" back in January, "Team" is being billed as her first solo single in three years.

The "Fancy" rapper hopes that this new single will be the first step in a major comeback. Iggy Azalea admitted the she dealt with some personal demons last year, even contemplating suicide.

"I don’t know, there were times when I wanted to just quit life,” Iggy said in an interview with Power 106 Los Angeles. Iggy wasn’t just talking about her career; she was contemplating ending it all. “Sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get to my horses and I would be like what if I just kept driving.”

It seems that Iggy Azalea is in a better place now as she's ready to put her work back out there again.
