Hurricane Matthew Leaves Nearly 900 Dead in Haiti

The Guardian reports that at least 877 people have been confirmed dead in this devastating storm. Thousands have been left homeless in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.

The number of dead is surely expected to rise as rescue workers and search teams begin to assist people.
