Halloween Scare: Glass Found In Numerous Lollipops In Houghton Park Area

Every year during Halloween is when you find tainted candy or items handed out during this time. Normally law enforcement advises you not to take anything that isn't pre packaged. My question is how do you put 'Glass' in a lollipop?

According to Buffalo Police Department: Police alerting residents of tainted candy. The Buffalo Police Department is investigating an incident last night of Tootsie Pops containing glass being handed out in the Houghton Park area. Police strongly advise residents to check all candy their children receive and to report any candy that has been tampered with.
