Police seized guns and drugs from homes in Buffalo and Amherst yesterday morning!

The raids, which were conducted early Thursday morning, led to five arrests and seized a variety of guns and drugs, according to WIVB. The raids were on homes on Woodlawn Ave., Greeley Ave., and Wilbury Pl. in Buffalo and on Old Lyme Rd. in Amherst.

Police confiscated three handguns, five ounces of heroin, more than 200 ecstasy pills, cocaine and marijuana. Police arrested a man named John Willet, but have not yet released the names of the other four people who were also arrested. They are facing charges ranging from criminal narcotics possession to criminal weapon possession.
