Gucci Mane wastes no time when it comes to dropping new material, and he's already back with some new tunes. The Southern rap veteran released his new track "Tone It Down," which features Chris Brown on the hook, and it has the makings of a summer banger.

The Trap God and Breezy get down to business on the record, which features an upbeat instrumental as the two lace the song with catchy bars. Rather than getting flashy with his rhymes, Gucci is straightforward, letting anyone around him know that he is not here for any nonsense.

"Hold up lil homie tone it down/'Cause the jewelry that you're rockin' is for kids/I'm a grown up," Guwop raps on the song.

If you recall, last month, the Atlanta native released his Droptopwop album, which was met with critical acclaim. The 10-track project features Offset, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and Young Dolph.

It's already been a big year for the rapper, as he landed his first platinum plaque as a lead artist earlier this month for his "Both" record featuring Drake, which comes off of his The Return of East Atlanta Santa album from late 2016.
