What do Wiz Khalifa, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean have in common? Yes, they all had big successes in 2012, but they are also among Forbes magazine's brightest stars under the age of 30.

The chart-topping superstars have been chosen by the editors for its '30 Under 30' list in the music field. Also on the tally are Adele, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Drake, Kesha, Skrillex and many others.

The aforementioned artists are being recognized by the magazine for their youthful ambition and entrepreneurial success. “It means a lot, man, because those people, they do it really big," says Wiz of the distinguished list. “You think of Lady Gaga, you think of megastar. So to just be mentioned in that same [breath], that’s big, man. It gives me a lot to work towards.”

The 25-year-old Pittsburgh rhyme-spitter was on top of his game in 2012. He recently dropped his second album, 'O.N.I.F.C.' and is about to become a new dad with fiancee Amber Rose. According to Forbes, Wiz has earned $20 million over the past two years. Now that Wiz has achieved fame and fortune, he doesn't plan to slow down anytime soon.

"I don’t see this as time to slow down or chill out," he tells the magazine. "I see it as a time to go harder because I’ve got new motivation."

Thee '30 Under 30' list will appear in Forbes magazine's January 2013 issue, which should hit newsstands next week.
