Fetty Wap fans have been patiently awaiting the official return of the beloved hip-hop star, and his comeback is approaching sooner than you think. The New Jersey native announced he will be releasing the first single off of his forthcoming King Zoo album this weekend, and posted the artwork along with the announcement to Instagram.

While we're not sure what we can expect from the new song, we do know it's titled "Aye" and doesn't appear to have any features. In a caption on social media, Fetty revealed he'll also be dropping the music video for the record to coincide with the major release.

"First song off the Album dropping this weekend #AYE AND IM DROPPING THE VIDEO WITH IT FOR MY FANS. #KINGZOO THE ALBUM ON THE WAY," wrote the rapper.

Fetty is working on his sophomore album, King Zoo, which will be the follow-up to his 2015 debut, Fetty Wap. The hitmaker has lent his vocals to a lot of different tracks over the past couple of years, and has released a number of solo records to tide fans over before his next project. Back in March, Wap released freestyle remixes to SahBabii's "Pull Up Wit Ah Stick" and Uzi's "XO Tour Llif3," and dropped "Island Boy" back in February.

While we await more details on his upcoming King Zoo album, we can wait for the release of "Aye" this coming weekend. Take a look at the official artwork above.
