Fast Food Wage Board Holds First Public Hearing
Hundreds fast food workers, union representatives, and religious leaders from across Western New York joined together with state and local leaders at Buffalo’s city hall on Friday morning to make their case for a minimum wage hike to the state’s new fast food wage board.
Now I’m all for people making more money especially when they work hard- but if fast food workers get a raise to $15 an hour McDonalds here I come. My question to you is simple. Do you think it’s fair if fast food workers make more money an hour than jobs that require additional education and or training???
