Expect Delays on the 198!
I mean jeez, they already lowered the speed limit to 30 on an EXPRESSWAY, now this! Expect delays if you use the 198 aka Scajaquada Expressway!
You can expect delays and detours if you use the 198 to get around Buffalo. This week, construction crews will be working on the second phase of the Elmwood bridge, according to WGRZ. Traffic will get down to one lane going west on the 198 near Elmwood, today (Tuesday) starting at 6 pm till 6 am tomorrow. Wednesday you will also see the 198 get down to one lane heading west from 9 am to 3 pm! And if that's not enough, expect it again on Thursday and Friday from 6 pm to 10 pm. Get what you need done before or during that time because starting at 10 pm Thursday to to 6 am Friday, the whole 198 will be closed near Elmwood!
