SUMMARY:John Wagner Cancer Benefit
DESCRIPTION:On March 27th\, John Wagner was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Cancer. This is a cancer\, which started in his tonsil and progressed onto the lymph nodes in his neck. He underwent surgery on April 2nd\, where they successfully removed the right tonsil and 94 lymph nodes in his neck. The fight is not over yet though - in the following months he will undergo 6 1/2 weeks of radiation 5 times a week and chemo 3 times a week. For the next 4 months\, John will be out of work and it is becoming a daily struggle to keep up with co-pays and hospital bills. He is reaching out for not only the moral support and prayers of his friends and family\, but financially as well.  On\, Saturday June 1\, 2013 at 2:05pm\, we will be assisting the Wagner family by sponsoring a benefit in John’s favor. Admission is free\, but for a donation of $20.00 for adults\, 6-12 $10.00 (under 5 free)\, you will receive food\, soft drinks\, and one Basket Raffle Ticket Sheet. You can purchase additional Basket Raffle ticket sheets for $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. Together with the basket raffle\, we will also have some big-ticket items and special door prizes. The Keeping Kids Safe Project will take a child’s fingerprints and send them home with parents.
