Elle Varner is helping women build a solid foundation when it comes to business and money. On Monday (April 7), the 'Refill' singer hosted a Women of Influence Round Table dinner in New York to celebrate female professionals.

The gathering gave women the opportunity to network with other business-minded individuals and create friendships. More importantly, the ladies were able to discuss how they can build wealth while continuing to maneuver in their respective industries.

Sarah Beane Ricca, a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, led the group in a discussion of "Women and Wealth." She highlighted trends among women investors and offered some strategies on saving and investing.

Among the high-powered women who attended the event included filmmaker Crystal McCray, who talked about her latest documentary 'Little Ballers,' which documented the journeys of several youth athletes from around the world. Also, in attendance, was journalist and Billboard editor Erika Ramirez, who recently profiled 30 females rappers in 30 days for the music publication.

"I work in a man-centric field," said Varner in a press release. "I think it's important to stay connected to women that elevate others and themselves. They're doing a good thing and I just want to acknowledge that."

The Women of Influence Round Table is a monthly event produced by jewelry designer Seville Michelle.

Meanwhile, Elle Varner is currently working on her second album titled '4 Letter Word.' The 24-year-old singer just released a new single, 'Little Do You Know.'
