Drake (aka "that guy Amanda Bynes sometimes wants to murder her lady parts") is ready to settle his ongoing feud with Chris Brown. Even if he's not optimistic it'll ever happen.

It all began when Rihanna took up with Drake (after Brown beat her), and came to a head in a nasty bar fight the two men and their respective posses had about her.

"I don't want my name to be synonymous with that guy's name. I really don't," Drake told GQ about Brown. "I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that's not going to happen."

And as for that bar fight? "I'm not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I'm not going to back down."

"It's embarrassing, the amount of media coverage. Two rappers fighting over the woman," he bemoaned. "He's not even a rapper, but still, it's the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he's made me the enemy, and that's the way it's gonna stay, I guess."

That said, he added, "If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot. Like I get a feeling it could end really badly."

This, of course, is in line with an interview Drake did in April, in which he simultaneously threw shade at Breezy by calling him insecure and said he wanted to end their on-going tiff at some point.

Now, now children. That's not how we apologize.
