Now that Lil Wayne and Birdman's long-standing beef has been put to rest (for now), a lot of people in their inner circles have breathed a sigh of relief. Namely, Drake and Nicki Minaj who have both been stuck in the middle of the entire feud.

Sources close to the YMCMB camp tell TMZ every since Tune and Baby started beefing Drizzy and Meek Mill's boo thing have been forced to take sides. It has caused tense moments among the two, with both riding with Lil Wayne but still having love for the Cash Money CEO as well. Now, both are happy they no longer have to play the fence.

Over the last year, things have been shaky to say the least. Last January, after voicing his displeasure with Birdman and CMR, Wayne threatened to take Nicki and Drake with him if he jumped ship from the storied Southern rap label. Wayne believed that Nicki and Drake should definitely leave with him since their contracts are with Young Money Entertainment.

Wayne later feared Aubrey and Minaj would leave Young Money over frustrations over the legal battle.

Now, things are looking up for the Cash Money family. But there's still the matter of legal issues. Despite squashing their beef Lil Wayne is still suing Birdman and Cash Money. He also claims in the lawsuit that CMR owes Drake, Nicki and Tyga funds as well.
