One day while having a casual meeting on the beach with Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine, Dr Dre talked about designing his own brand of sneakers. Jimmy said "Forget sneakers, let's sell speakers". Shortly after development, HTC came in a bought 51% of the company, leaving with Dr Dre with $110 million cash money!

This load of cash is more than double that of Forbes #2 Hip Hop Cash King. Sean Combs AKA Diddy, who makes his dough from Ciroc, Blue Flame Agency and Bad Boy Records.

Jigga slides down to #3 with $38 Million from his earnings from the Watch The Throne album, tour and ownership with the Brooklyn Nets, among other grand hustles.
