Donna Summer Vs. Diana Ross, “Battle Of The Headliners” [VIDEO] [VOTE]

This morning we are paying tribute to the late “Queen of Disco” Donna Summer by featuring her in The Battle of the Headliners.

Back in the late '70s, she burst on the scene with a European-influenced sound that would be given the title of disco. She went on to produce a number #1 song and gold and platinum records that gained success on both the R&B charts as well as the pop charts.

Her opponent needs no introduction; she first rose to fame as a founding member and lead singer of the Motown group The Supremes in the late '60s. Although her music may not so much be classified as disco, her upbeat dance songs (in my opinion) have a somewhat of a disco feel to them.
