A Muslim flight attendant for ExpressJet is trying to win her job back after being suspended for refusing to serve alcohol to passengers since she converted to Islam, , according to Huffington Post.

Charee Stanley filed a complaint last week with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission because her employer had decided not to go through with a plan to allow her to keep working.

She had initially worked out a deal with a co-worker to serve the alcoholic beverages, but it fell through because the co-worker complained!

ExpressJet placed her on unpaid leave for 12 months and threatened to fire her. The airline released this statement, "We embrace and respect the values of all of our team members. We are an equal opportunity employer with a long history of diversity in our workforce."
