It seems that whenever there is a situation similar to the Donald Sterling incident, so-called black leadership immediately dives in emotionally and demands that something must be done immediately. They always plan meetings, rallies and marches in protest to draw attention to the situation in an effort to spark change if nothing is done within a certain time frame.

Author and lecturer Jeremiah Camara recently did a commentary where he lays out an opportunity that he feels African Americans missed as soon as the audio of Donald Sterling was released. In fact, he talks about the leverage Black America had, until they allowed a very important opportunity to slip away.
