Depression And The Black Community

There is a book out by a lady by the name of Terrie Williams, entitled 'Black Pain'. I have not read the book, but I do think it comes at a very relevant time in our community’s history.

With all that is happening in our families, the public school system, joblessness, crime, etc., African Americans have not been willing to talk about the issue(s) as we should be. We must begin to open up to this and a number of things if we are going to rise above our problems and issues in the community.
