It looks like former NBA-star Dennis Rodman has avoided jail time after pleading guilty in his recent drunk driving case.

According to the New York Daily News, Rodman pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol, and one count of driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08% or higher.

The 56-year-old was ordered to pay a $390 fine and sentenced to a nine-month alcohol program, and three years of informal probation.

Rodman’s lawyer Paul Meyer said,

“In issuing the sentence, the court recognized Dennis’ intensive inpatient rehabilitation and his commitment to treatment. Dennis has accepted responsibility for his sobriety and has made great progress.”

Rodman was arrested on January 13th after he was pulled over in Newport Beach and failed a sobriety test. At the time of his arrest, Rodman was already on probation for driving his vehicle in the wrong direction in a carpool lane back in June of 2016.
