After an anticipated three years, David Banner's The God Box is finally released.

Banner first announced the album back in 2014.  The new album features 15 tracks with guest appearances by Black Thought, Big K.R.I.T., CeeLo Green, Tito Lo, Kap G and Dungeon Family’s Big Rube.

David Banner just released the powerful song "Magnolia," with CeeLo Green and Raheem DeVaughn. On the track, Banner ties together the significance of Mississippi trees and slave history.

“I was sitting up under this tree, she was talking to me / Said ‘son, do you happen to know who I am, who I happen to be?’ / I told her the mighty Magnolia that stands tall / From the shoulders of slaves and soldiers when the days get colder,” spit the Mississippi MC.

Banner is confident his new LP will "be worth the wait." In 2015, he reported the album would be one of the best in hip-hop history.
