I posted this question on my personal Facebook Page a couple days ago and never expected the number of responses my "thought" would generate.  Here's the question I posed and the responses...what's your opinion?

Ask yourself...what would life in the U.S. be like if led by a DEVOUT Mormon? AND... why isn't Mitt Romney's Mormonism more of a factor and topic of discussion?

  1. www.dailykos.com

If this is an indicator or preview of the Romney economic policy in action, we are all in deep, deep trouble.

  2. Horacio Martinez Yeajh i know about that site and often debate with Ron B about stuff. People are making this thing racial and its pissing me off. The fact is that its about the greed of the rich and the dissapearing moral values of society that corrupts folks into thinking that its ok and good for US to have a 400 to 1 pay scale between CEO and avg worker. The world has already functioned under those conditions. It was called monarchies....400 slices of bread for the king, 1 for u; 400 pairs of shoes for the king, 1 for u; 400 carrots for the king, 1 for u...and you'd better work 2 jobs if u want to keep up. Better yet, you need a college degree to push a couple of buttons and connect a couple cables, it's all a set-up to squeese freedom into submission. what's most disturbing is that instead of uniting and fighting with indignation agaisnt the common enemy, our misguided and sold-out youth have decided to drop their pants and become exactly what holds them in submission.

  4. Anita Zahm Hagerty Either way, I'd rather have someone in office who at least believes in God. Who knows what Obama believes!!!!

  5. Stephen Adams That was quite stupid Anita. I would rather have someone in offices who does not make decisions based on religions quackery or any religions belief at all.

  7. Jeff Zornow If you are okay with the pres being a parishoner in a church where the pastor screams "God damn America", then I don't think we Americans should worry about Romney being a Morman.

  9. Bryan Faulkner i think we should Jeff. After all Romney was A BISHOP IN THE CHURCH NO MERE MEMBER .. SO HOW HE LEAD PEOPLE MATTERS. Romney went to a an unmarried woman in the church and asked her to give the baby away to the church .. She refused and left the church.. That speaks volumes to me...
  10. Bryan Faulkner Plus Jeff do you know anything about the church.. ? Mormon and Rev Wright's ? Oh and Romney stayed in the church even though they discriminated against african-americvans and others for years...At least do your homework before just making a blanket statement....No joke sterphen Pagan symbols and all...

  11. Todd Hummel I am not bothered by his religious beliefs
  12. Todd Hummel I m more concerned about China being our bank.
  13. Stephen Adams I remember when America was terrified that Japan was our bank, and before that it was the middle eastern nations, and before that........
  14. Jeff Zornow Do your homework? What a condescending remark. You don't even know me, what I know or don't know. Rev Wright made that statement, you going to say he didn't? That was the president's pastor, you going to say he wasn't? The president's campaign is falling apart, so now in desparation you attack the man for his religion?
  15. Stephen Adams Sounds like you are the one who needs to do your homework. Coming from Western NY, one of the most racist places in the nation, you should know about the racist history of the Mormons.
  16. Here's some additional information I discovered online regarding Mormonism:
