Temperatures are dropping and the time to take shelter is now. A code blue has been issued for Tuesday night. According to WGRZ, there are places to go to take shelter.

Those who do not have a safe, warm place to stay for the night are encouraged to stay the night at a warming shelter.  Community members who may know people who do not have a place to stay are encouraged to notify them of the opening of the warming shelters.

Code Blue is activated during the winter months when temperatures are forecast to be below 32 degrees.

The warming shelters are located at The Buffalo City Mission (100 E. Tupper Street) and St. Luke's Mission of Mercy (325 Walden Avenue) in Buffalo.  The Hope Center is located at: 586 Genesee Street in Buffalo.
