Our morning started out with a 5 a.m. wake-up call, followed by breakfast at 6 a.m., when all luggage had to be outside the room for pick-up. At 7 a.m., we were on our way to Aswan, the land of Nubia -- but not before we made two stops.

The first was at the monumental Temple of Horus at Edfu, where we learned and saw with our own eyes where a number of American symbolisms originated.

The second stop was Kom Ombo Double Temple of Sobek, where anyone in the medical industry would be amazed to know the origin and truth of certain medical procedures and tools. The real father of medicine, Imhotep, was practicing medicine here long before anyone else.

This evening, we are headed to the Nubian Museum, which should really be an eye-opening experience for everyone on the Know Thyself Educational Tour!
