Ouch! Looks like GQ isn’t on Team Breezy. The British edition of the popular men’s mag named Chris Brown its Worst Dressed Man of 2012.

The magazine takes most issue with Brown’s baggy fits. “For someone who seems to have so much disposable income — he boasts on one track about spending ’15 grand on a phone’ and charged over $500 for meet-and-greets on his last tour — Brown seems utterly adverse to investing in tailoring, combining the worst excesses of XXL sizing with a penchant for deeply unflattering costumes,” GQ says.

The mag’s website features a slew of Brown’s worst wardrobe offenses, including a hibiscus print blazer from 2005 which we’re willing to cut him a little slack for — come on, we all wore things when we were 16 that we regret now! Another shot of Brown in an oversized brown hoodie bears the caption, “At the ‘Grammy Jam’ celebration of Stevie Wonder. At least Stevie was spared seeing that cavernous monstrosity of a jacket.” Cheap shot much?!

Breezy’s other biggest problem, per GQ, is his affinity for bow ties, writing on one image, “The bow tie? Still more Pee-Wee Herman than Andre 3000.” Sheesh!

While we don’t agree with all of GQ’s points, we gotta admit — some of Brown’s outfits are a bit egregious. But at the same time, you have to applaud him for taking risks on the red carpet. That takes guts (and probably cost a ‘Fortune‘)!
