Ron Newt, friend of the Jackson family, is filing a lawsuit against most of the Empire team including director Lee Daniels and star actor, Terrence Howard. Newt is claiming that the show is a copy of his actual life and wants answers.

TMZ has the suspicions:

Newt, known as "The Ghetto Player" is claiming that he met with Terrence Howard at a Four Seasons Hotel where he told him his life story in hopes that it will be turned into a film or documentary. Newt said that Howard felt a connection with the story and even mentioned that he wanted to be a part of the production.

Newt is asking for $1 Billion in his lawsuit.
