Buffalo Students Make History Talking With An Astronaut In Space [Video]

In an extremely rare and once-in-a lifetime opportunity, Buffalo students from Harvey Austin Elementary School PS97 made contact with astronauts on the International Space Station! Yasmin Young was on hand at Buffalo State's Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium to capture the moment! Harvey Austin is the first majority African-American school in the country to be selected for this rare opportunity! The Lancaster Amateur Radio Club helped the 4th-through-8th-grade students have a Q&A session with U.S. astronaut Timothy Kopra!
