The Buffalo School Board is making moves to request the removal of Carl Paladino!

The Buffalo School Board passed a resolution last night to petition the State Education Department to remove Carl Paladino, according to WGRZ! The board, on which he still technically currently serves, voted six to three in favor of the resolution.

The resolution has a new argument for Paladino’s removal by the state; the board wants Paladino’s removal based on the fact that he “may have violated the confidentiality of one or more executive sessions and/or having engaged in other violations of his Oath of Office.”

The Board claims he illegally revealed information about executive session discussions on teachers’ contracts in an article featured in Artvoice. The Buffalo Teachers Federation and New York State United Teachers have also announced their intentions to file a petition with State Education Commissioner MaryEllen Elia to have him removed.
