Let Fido Have Some Fun At These Buffalo-Area Dog Parks

Are you tired of walking your dog down the block from your house every day, but not sure what parks allow dogs? Here’s a list of parks in Western New York that your dog (and you) can enjoy this summer!

Niagara Falls State Park

Location: 333 Prospect St., Niagara Falls

All dogs are welcome but must be kept on a 6-foot leash.

The Barkyard

Location: West end of LaSalle Park at Porter Avenue, Buffalo

All dogs must be on a leash unless inside gate. Please take a look at rules for the dog park before going.

Riverside Park

Location: 2607 Niagara St., Buffalo
Phone Number: 716-838-1249
Dogs can enjoy this 22-acre park along the Niagara River, but they must be kept on a leash.

The Paw Park

Location: 500 Smith Rd., Amherst

If you want to give your dog some freedom, this is the perfect place. There are areas divided for small dogs and larger dogs for some leash-free fun! Be sure to check out the website for rules and more information.

Enjoy the many trails in this 80-acre park. Dogs must be on a leash.

Delaware Park

Looking for a place to run? Take your four-legged friend to Delaware Park! You’ll both love the exercise and the bonding experience. Just keep the dog on a leash!

Knox Farm State Park

Location: 437 Buffalo Rd., East Aurora

Dogs must be on a 6-foot leash.

Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site

Location: 641 Delaware Ave., Buffalo
Phone Number: 716-884-0095
Dogs must be on leash and must be cleaned up after on walking tours of the historical neighborhoods. Dogs are not allowed in the house or gardens.
