Cecelia’s Ristorante & Martini Bar-

716 Elmwood Ave.  14222- (716)883-8066

Located in the Elmwood Village, Cecelia’s is the perfect place to grab some food and drinks if you like the city vibe. Their patio is hugeee and stretches out to the curbside on Elmwood, including a covered section as well. They have some of the best Italian food in Buffalo, and 'Monday Martini Mania' is the perfect excuse to step out during the week. They also have ‘Prix Fixe Dinner Tuesdays’ which is a special two course dinner and a glass of wine for only $20 and ‘Simply Pasta Wednesdays’ where they feature fresh-cut homemade pasta entrees. The atmosphere here is great, it can be romantic for a nice date, but it still has a fun light feel that makes it great for somewhere to hang on the weekends.

Encore- 492 Pearl St. Buffalo, NY 14202- (716)931-5001

Encore Restaurant is hidden down on Pearl St. in the Buffalo theatre district. For the longest time I thought this place was only a bar because I had never been upstairs, but let me tell you, the food is amazing and it’s perfect because after dinner you can just stay there and party. You can dine intimately in the custom private booth area, go in the main dining area upstairs, or stop in the custom sushi station. Encore also has a gigantic patio in the back with a full separate bar and DJ. So, if you’re looking to have a nice dinner followed by some ‘dancing,’ or just looking to be outside and sip a drink Encore is the perfect summer bar. Visit the Encore website for more information http://encorebuffalo.com/

Gramma Mora’s- 1465 Hertel Ave. Buffalo NY, 14216- (716) 837-6703

If enjoying some homemade Mexican food and a cold Corona this summer sounds good to you, Gramma Mora’s is perfect! Along with indoor dining, they also have a great outdoor patio so you can sit and enjoy the North Buffalo city vibe.  Currently they are featuring ‘Two for $20.11’ where you have your choice of enchilada, taco, or burrito dinner and a delicious apple grande for dessert.  They also have daily specials on chile rellenos, chicken mole, and spaghetti and meatballs (to honor their Italian side of the family), and Friday’s they have ‘Charlie’s Fantastic Fish Fry’ which is out of this world. For more information visit http://www.gramma-moras.com/1.html

P.S. Love the Mexican vibe? It’s been featured before, but Cozumel is the ultimate summer patio bar! http://www.cozumelgrill.com/

Pearl Street Grill & Brewery- 76 Pearl St. Buffalo, NY- (716) 856-2337

You can’t talk about patio bars without naming one of the largest and most infamous bars in Buffalo, Pearl Street. With several different levels, and a beer list that will make your head spin, if you haven’t spent a summer afternoon at Pearl Street, then you obviously haven’t lived here long, or you need to come out from that rock you’ve been living under. Maybe you just haven’t made the trip downtown to go yet, but whatever the case may be you have to stop in and grab some food on the patio (their chicken wings are awesomeee, and they have a full deli) and read the history behind the restaurant; mobsters in the old days, it’s pretty cool. Check out http://pearlstreetgrill.com/ for more info.

The Steer- 3151 Main St. Buffalo NY, 14214- (716) 838-0478

How does sitting outside enjoying a nice steak and a cocktail sound? Good? Go to The Steer. They have a balcony patio with tiki lights that overlooks Main St. and the whole atmosphere is really nice. It has a similar feel to Encore as you can definitely keep your night going with the bar scene downstairs as well as the several other venues within walking distance.
