Bomb Scare in WNY after Abandoned Backpack Found

There was a bomb scare here in WNY!

An abandoned backpack in Nigara Falls sparked a bomb scare this afternoon, according to WGRZ! The backpack was left at Niagara Street between 1st and 3rd Streets in Niagara Falls.

A city worker found the bag around 2 p.m. this afternoon. With the recent bombings in NYC and NJ, it's no wonder police were on high alert. After examining the bag, the all clear was given.
