Black History Month Know Thyself Essay Contest — Here’s the Topic + How to Enter

This year will mark the fourth year that WBLK has presented our community with a thought-provoking and rewarding Black History Month Essay contest.

In 1,000 words or less, tell us: Why is it important for today's generation to focus on family, education and personal achievement? Two grand prize winners will receive an iPad Mini, courtesy of Interscope Records!

You must be between 12 and 18 years of age to enter. Get your essays in by Friday, March 1, because we'll select the winners on Tuesday, March 5!
