Black Firefighter Receives Threat, North Tonawanda Home Burned Down
Ken Walker is a volunteer firefighter in North Tonawanda. He received a threatening letter placed in the mailbox of his Oliver Street home on Monday. The letter reads:
" Ni**ers are not allowed to be firefighters, No one wants you in this city. You have Until The end of this week to resign your position, or you will regret it, NI**ER!"
This morning, the home Walker resides in with his wife, 2 children and 2 cats was burned down and is a total loss. While his wife and children were out of the apartment, his 2 cats died in the blaze. The FBI is investigating the matter. Watch Walker's comments HERE
Donations for Walker and his family will be accepted at the Gratwick Hose Volunteer Fire Company this Sunday from 10-2 p.m. The fire hall is located at 110 Ward Rd. in North Tonawanda. You can also donate HERE
