Bill Cosby would be the first to tell you do not compare him to the father character that he played years ago on television. At a recent awards gala honoring Diddy, Cosby encounter Russell Simmons the hip hop mogul who wrote an open letter to Cosby back in 2009 about his position on today’s rappers.

In the letter to Bill, Russell felt that Cosby was correct in his feelings of today’s hip hoppers, but also felt that the elder’s generation has a number of skeletons in the closet and some of which have carried over into today’s generation and they should not be held totally responsible for their expression of life as they see and experience it!
