Danita Martin has had enough of teaching and has decided to call it quits after what what she described as "continued student discipline issues" at a Grandview Heights Middle School in Memphis at a recent school board meeting, reports WMC Action News 5.

In front of what appears to be parents and school administrators, Ms. Martin described horrific events of student behavior that made some in the very uncomfortable. “I had a student take a calculator and beat another student upside the head,” she said. “Broke the calculator, and was not suspended…. Another student got the scissors and started making a stabbing motion. When I went to the administration, they said he was already suspended earlier today. What am I supposed to do?”

The allegations and claims that the teacher has made are now being investigated by the district and they have declined comment until those findings are complete.
