Ashanti’s ‘Braveheart’ Album Set for June Release

Ashanti is ready to be brave and release her fifth studio album, according to Rap-Up.com.

‘Braveheart’ is due June 11 via Written Entertainment/eOne Music.

Pushed back for some time now, the singer has released a series of singles up until this point including ‘The Woman You Love’ featuring Busta Rhymes in December 2011, and the R. Kelly-assisted ‘That’s What We Do.’

A video for her latest single, ‘Never Should Have,’ directed by Sanji Senaka and shot in Santa Barbara, Calif., will be premiering soon.

‘Braveheart’ is the follow-up to Ashanti’s 2008 album ‘The Declaration.’
