In the wake of the Mike Brown tragedy, St. Louis has never been the same. Some key witnesses in the city have even referred to it as a war zone of sorts. The violence and injustice certainly continues even today as POLICE respond to another fatal police shooting on an alleged unarmed suspect in St. Louis. (iambrianjames.com)

Homicide detectives from the St. Louis POLICE department have been called to the scene of a fatal officer involved shooting in the 4100 block of Shaw Blvd. in south St. Louis.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 pm.

Police say an off-duty officer working a second job attempted pedestrian check. The suspect fled on foot, and officer pursued the suspect. The suspect turned and fired at the officer. The officer fearing for his life returned fire fatally wounding the suspect.

I agree this police officer should not have fired 16 rounds but I will just say we don’t know the entire story. I really hope we can find peace, not just in Missouri but in America, between the police and the ones they are sworn to protect. People have erupted as expected, here is a video of St. Louis right now:

The details of this story are a little wild and still being figured out, but what do you think about the story?
