A prison mail clerk is charged with using an inmate’s money order to pay her own credit card bill.
Carole Kozak is accused of changing a $300 money order that was sent to an inmate by his father, according to WIVB! Kozak plead guilty to criminal possession of a forged instrument in the third degree.
She used the money to pay her credit card bill! She will now may be getting her own money orders sent to her; she'll be sentenced in Erie County Court on Feb. 22, 2017. She also faces internal disciplinary charges by the Department of Corrections.
