Born September 7, 1898, Mamie Rearden a widow and mother of 11 children, talks about her life and raising children.

She learned to drive at the age of 65 and accepted a job that would have her driving throughout the county looking for parents who were keeping their children home from school.

Ms. Rearden was the type of mother and woman that never 'bad mouthed', 'gossiped', are talked bad about anyone; and she instill the same in her children.
