Amazon to hire to fill 400 people! Apply inside

Amazon says it will hire to fill more than 400 permanent, part-time roles for more work force operations in the Buffalo area.

The new jobs Amazon is hiring for are in its fulfillment operations, the company said. The employees will receive and process customer returns.

The Seattle-based company has scheduled three hiring events

• 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fairfield Inn, 4271 Genesee St. in Cheektowaga;
• 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 4201 Genesee St. in Cheektowaga;
• 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Fairfield Inn in Cheektowaga.

Amazon said the new positions would be co-located at its existing area operation, in a former supermarket warehouse on Walden Avenue in Lancaster. Amazon already has more than 300 employees at the center, which opened last year.
