Fourteen-time Grammy-award winning singer Alicia Keys graced the stage at the 39th Annual People's Choice Awards Wednesday night. Actor Shemar Moore, who first met the New York native during his days as a 'Soul Train' host, gave her a passionate introduction.

Keys started off her performance in classic fashion: playing the piano. Rocking a red motorcycle jacket, white turtleneck and black pants, she belted out her 'Girl On Fire' verses with assistance from her backup singers and guitarists, performing a stripped-down version of the song.

She then turned things up a notch and took to the center of the stage. Joined by a league of extraordinary gentlemen dancing around her dressed in black-and-white suits and top hats, Keys sang the first single released off her 'Girl On Fire' album, 'New Day.' The singer smiled often as she pushed out the lyrics and walked back and forth across the stage. The camera also panned to her hubby, Swizz Beatz, who was rocking in the front row while holding their son Egypt.

'It's a brand new year. Take it to the top," Alicia told the crowd before she gracefully ended her short set.
