Corey J. Flatau was arrested on December 29th and charged with DWI. The officer's vehicle went across Nash Road in the Town of Wheatfield, where it hit a mailbox, according to WGRZ. Officers on the scene attempted to give him a field sobriety test, but could not complete it after he fell. There is no word on any disciplinary action that the Town of Tonawanda Police Department is proposing to take against Flatau as of now.

Hopefully, this won't just get swept under the rug and he won't just receive a paid vacation. There are consequences for DWI, and hopefully him being an officer won't excuse him from them!
