The Buffalo News report explains that there’s a Community Meeting on Tuesday, April 17 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm, in the Frank E. Merriweather Jr. Library, 1324 Jefferson Ave… which is open to the public… to support escalating the construction of a Splash Facility @ Martin Luther King jr. Park in time for Juneteenth.  What is now a “Splash Pad” would be expanded to a “year round” Splash Facility including an ice rink in the Winter, a reflecting pool in the Spring, and a Splash Pad in the Summer.
