Justin Bieber has been very supportive of the new documentary ‘Bully,’ and now he’s lent his song ‘Born to Be Somebody’ to a special trailer for the film.

According to MTV, thee Weinstein Company announced that the Bieber spot will begin airing on TV all across the nation, prior to the film’s opening on Friday. The clip originally debuted on Fandango.

“My fans are always up for supporting a great cause. It’s one of the things I’m most proud of as an entertainer,” the 18-year-old said about being involved with the eye-opening documentary. “I hope they see ‘Bully’ with their friends and help start the conversation so we can end bullying.”

‘Bully’ originally received an R rating by the MPAA, which motivated a 17-year-old Michigan student, Katy Butler, to start a viral petition to get the movie a PG-13 rating. The petition received over 500,000 signatures, and the campaign was supported by the likes of Bieber, Ellen DeGeneres, Johnny Depp, Demi Lovato and more.

“Just watched the #BULLY movie,” the Canadian pop star wrote on March 9. “Really intense. really powerful. we need to stand up for eachother.”
