An elderly 91-year old woman who lives right next to the University of Kansas has been offered over $600,000.00 dollars to sell her home to a Chicago developer who would like to build a modern living community for university students, according to The Kansas City Star.
In 1946, Georgia Bell and her husband purchased the home where they raised all of their children and now the resident who enjoys taking her garbage out and other home dwelling tasks refuses to sell her property to developers.
