Music's biggest night is finally here. The 58th Annual Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center in L.A., will be a ceremony to remember for its hip-hop nominations alone tonight (Feb. 15). the big talk is centered on who will take home the golden gramophone in each category and with Kendrick Lamar scoring 11 nods, his chances of grabbing a few trophies during the night are in his favor.

K. Dot's lauded sophomore set, To Pimp a Butterfly, is up for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album, to name a few. Drake will go up against the West Coast native in the category for his 2015 release, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, plus his Meek Mill diss "Back to Back" is nominated for Best Rap Performance while "Energy" is under the umbrella of Best Rap Song. Then there's Fetty Wap, who lands two nods for "Trap Queen" in the Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song categories.

There are plenty other nominees vying for a Grammy tonight including Nicki Minaj, J. Cole, Common, The Weeknd, Kanye West and Kehlani. And let's not forget the performances. The Weeknd will likely take the stage with Lauryn Hill (if the rumors are true) and Kendrick has a controversial performance prepared replete with prison imagery.

Stay tuned to XXL to find out who walks away with a big win throughout the night. We'll be updating the winners in the rap (and some R&B) categories here as they are announced live from the Staples Center. Get ready for hip-hop to take over at the 2016 Grammy Awards on CBS at 8 PM ET.
