Why do rappers still think restaurants are a good investment?

2 Chainz's much-hyped Atlanta restaurant, Escobar Restaurant and Tapas, has failed its first health inspection report. The resto opened in December 2016.

On Feb. 17, after a nearly two hour inspection the restaurant received a grade of "U" or 59 out of 100 points from The Georgia Department of Public Health.  Among the issues cited were raw seafood next to utensils, black and red mold-like substance inside the ice machine and a lack of soap or paper towels by the hand-washing sink. In addition, chicken wings were cooked at temperatures that ranged from 113-125 degrees, however, all hot food items must maintain 135 degrees or higher. The restaurant has a chance to rectify the sad score on March 3 at its next inspection.

On the music side, things are looking much brighter for 2 Chainz, as he continues his extensive, innovative roll-out for his new album dropping April 7, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Already he's enlisted Karreuche Tran, Amber Rose, Erykah Badu and most recently Lauren London for his Pretty Girls Like Trap music playlists, which he's been dropping weekly via Spotfiy.

Clearly, he's an astute businessman, so hopefully, he'll quickly get his restaurant game up to par as well.
